Deterring a burglar without breaking the bank

We’ve wrote many articles about high quality security systems on this website, but we feel it’s important to touch on the cheaper security items too. The fact of the matter is you don’t always have to spend a fortune to improve your home security—though it usually helps! Having CCTV and alarms signs is a good start. Even if you have nonfunctioning cameras and alarms on your property, the burglar isn’t to know and it will be sure to put them off should they spot it. Having signs to warn them of German Shepherds or other intimidating dogs can also be a good option, and don’t worry you don’t have to buy the dog. Adding motion sensors to your lights can be a good choice too and these are relatively cheap to buy and easy to install. Small, cheap and simple security items can go a long way, so think about these options if you’re looking to improve security without breaking the bank.
